Man Busted With Cannabis Plant During Hilarious Live TV Broadcast

When TV chiefs at regional station KMTV heard reports of cannabis being grown in the sleepy village of Hoath in Kent in south-west England they sent young gun reporter Cameron Tucker and a camera crew to investigate.

Reporting live out the front of the suspected drug house, Tucker’s story was given immediate gravitas when a young man casually strolled out the front holding, with what appears to be, a herbaceous dope plant.

Fast realising there’s a news crew out the front of his house, the young chap and his offending horticulture quickly took flight.

And Tucker’s reporting proved spot on. Owners of the house, Neil and Yvette Hartley, were later convicted of growing 88 cannabis plants and were both handed 22-month sentences, suspended for two years, and ordered to carry out 150 hours of community work.
