Mamamia Women’s Network has announced the appointment of Danika Johnston to the newly created position of national sales manger as second in command to Kylie Rogers who, last year, joined MWN as the national sales director after 17 years with Channel 10.
Mamamia Women’s Network National Sales Director Kylie Rogers said that adding yet another first class member to the team would ensure MWN maintains its exceptional growth while continuing to pioneer new creative solutions for clients.
“Danika brings with her not only a wealth of industry knowledge and exceptional media relationships, but a passion for innovative digital content solutions that will accelerate MWN’s growth and that’s why I am thrilled to have her on board,” Rogers said.
“Mamamia Women’s Network’s YOY growth exceeds 100% and we are focused on maintaining that growth by assembling the most dedicated and helpful sales team in the market which includes tripling the strength of our Implementation and Client Services team in the last six months,” Rogers continued.
Danika Johnston joins MWN from Authentic Entertainment where she was the national sales director, and prior to that she was the Sydney sales manager at DMG Radio.
Johnston, explained it was her admiration for the MWN brand and its unique connection with its audience that drew her to working with the women first, digital first business.
“I have long admired Mamamia and its unique connection with such a powerful audience. The growth of the Mamamia Women’s Network is truly exciting and I couldn’t think of a better time to join such a forward-thinking, innovative and digitally-led business,” Johnston said.
“I look forward to working with Kylie, being a part of the very impressive team at MWN, and to work with clients and brands to not only communicate to, but engage with the most influential group of consumers; women.”
The newly created role of national sales manager is the 30th new hire for MWN in 2015.
