Magnum & Co Names Its Head of Influencer Marketing

Sydney-based marketing agency Magnum & Co has announced the appointment of Simone Bevan as its head of influencer marketing.

Bevan joins Magnum & Co from Switched on Media, where she was the head of influencer marketing for almost two years.

Magnum & Co managing partner Katie Barclay said the company has invested significantly in the tools and processes to effectively pair brands with the right influencers, and Bevan’s appointment is further commitment.

“With Simone’s expertise, we’re showing we’re not just content to play around the edges, but we want to lead in the influencer marketing space,” she said.

“With Simone’s track record in influencer marketing, we’re really excited about what we can do together for our clients.”

Commenting on her appointment, Bevan said it was the culture of Magnum & Co that drew her to the agency.

“My background in digital and influencer marketing, when married with Magnum & Co’s desire to do work with true impact, bodes really well,” she said.

“It’s a really collaborative team.”

Magnum & Co has been assembling its integrated offer strategically over the last 18 months since rebranding, with a number of clients signing on to the books, including the recent appointment of Paton’s Macadamia.
