Following the announcement that Magnum PR has rebranded as Magnum & Co to better reflect its content-led, integrated service offering, the agency has announced the appointment of a new senior account manager and two content and community managers to further strengthen its team.
Rachel Wotherspoon, formerly of Mango Communications will oversee some of the agencies long standing accounts including DéLonghi and 3M, alongside exciting new clients including Wok on Inn and Pawshake. Wotherspoon will lead the day to day running of the accounts, working alongside the PR and social teams, whilst supporting the company’s drive for new business.
Magnum’s two new Content & Community Managers, Alison Duff and Simran Kaur, will be working across key social media accounts. Wotherspoon said: “Magnum & Co is a great example of an agency that is championing creative content and ensuring that social and digital runs straight through the core of the business, as opposed to being an agency’s sexier little sister. I’m excited to be joining a forward-thinking, independently owned agency and look forward to being a part of its exciting work.”
Before her role at Mango Communications, Wotherspoon established her PR career in the UK working on brands including Yorkshire Tea, Nando’s and Nestle Ice Cream.
Magnum & Co managing director Michelle Hampton said: “Integration, creativity and content is at the heart of what we do, so I’m delighted to welcome new talent who lend themselves perfectly to our commercial proposition. It’s an exciting time as we begin our next decade in business and we’re pleased to be welcoming Rachel, Alison and Simran to join us in our next chapter as Magnum & Co.”
