MAFS’ Ines Basic Breaks Her Media Silence & Reveals She Was Approached By 10 For Bachelorette Role

MAFS’ Ines Basic Breaks Her Media Silence & Reveals She Was Approached By 10 For Bachelorette Role

Married At First Sight‘s arguably most controversial contestant, Ines Basic, has broken her media silence after speaking with Kyle and Jackie O on air this morning.

Ines refused to do interviews this season, but this morning she made an exception.

The KIIS FM hosts were actually interviewing MAFS contestant Martha on the phone, who was coincidentally with Basic at the time, with the radio duo asking to speak with her.

Jackie O firstly asked Basic if she’d been in contact with MAFS contestant Sam Ball, who she allegedly had an affair with, but she said she hadn’t.

Basic was also asked if there was any truth to the rumours she was approached by Channel 10 to star on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, with 10 recently revealing ex-Goggleboxer Angie Kent as the new star.

Basic said: “I actually did get asked while filming Married At First Sight if I was interested in being picked for it because they thought I’d be real funny,” she said on KIIS FM.

“I was like, ‘I don’t know, this is already so hectic.”

Basic was a highly controversial character on this years’ season of MAFS after treating her husband Bronson Norrish appallingly and then had an affair with Sam Ball, which he said was fake.
