Host/Havas digital creative director Paul Bootlis has announced he is joining Macquarie Health as its chief creative and growth officer.
Bootlis said in a statement: “It’s time for me to pursue new interests and life goals. I’m excited to join Macquarie Health, an Australian company innovating in healthcare, med-tech, and wellness, real passions of mine. I look forward to contributing to their ongoing success.”
Macquarie Health CEO and chairman Tom Wenkart said: “We’re very excited to have Paul join us. Paul’s experience in digital marketing will significantly enhance our scope and capabilities in effectively connecting with customers.”
Bootlis’ career in writing, marketing, and digital media has spanned 20 years, working in Melbourne, Sydney, San Francisco, and Los Angeles across multiple creative disciplines.
He has won every major advertising accolade, this year scoring two D&AD Black Pencils and three Cannes Lions Grand Prix – including a Titanium Grand Prix – for the ground-breaking eco-project the Palau Pledge.
Bootlis joined Host/Havas full-time in April last year after working on a freelance basis for the agency for over 18 months.
Prior to that, he held creative director roles at TBWA\ and AKQA in America.
