Toilet paper and paper towels have arguably hogged the headlines more than they should have over recent months.
But a new campaign for Candian brand Kruger is putting loo rolls, paper towels and tissues squarely back where they belong – cleaning up humans’ mess.
Kruger Products’ brands include Cashmere, Purex, SpongeTowels and Scotties and all are celebrated in a new spot via creative agency Broken Heart Love Affair.
The ad’s emotional, messy and snotty but is a refreshingly honest take on us humans and Kruger’s brands.
The ad, called Unapologetically Human, comes in both an English and a French version, with the English one, shown below, is set to the track Human by Rag ‘n Bone Man (the French language spot is set to Passer a l’ouest by Quebec singer Dumas).

Commenting on the work, Kruger Products CMO Susan Irving said: “We wanted to remind Canadians that, despite our differences, we are all human.
“We cry, we bleed, we use the bathroom. Our brands are there for all of that and we aren’t shying away from it. In fact, this commercial really is an expression of gratitude for all of those gloriously real human moments,” Irving said.
