Aussie real estate agent comparison service, LocalAgentFinder, has appointed a new creative and a new media agency to power its brand refresh, which launched yesterday on November 6 and included a fresh advertising campaign urging Australians to compare real estate agents as the first step in selling their home.

Full-service creative advertising agency McCann Melbourne has been engaged following a competitive pitch process that commenced in June and will initially drive new TVC creative and production for LocalAgentFinder.

Joining McCann Melbourne is independently-owned RCJ Advertising, which has been recently appointed by LocalAgentFinder as its media buying agency.

LocalAgentFinder’s CEO, Matt McCann, said, “Our creative pitch included proposals from highly regarded creative and strategic agencies, McCann’s depth of strategic thinking and collaborative culture delivered them the work. We are delighted with the support we are receiving from every level of the agency.”

LocalAgentFinder joins McCann Melbourne’s impressive stable of clients including L’Oréal, the Australian Federal Government, AGL Energy, and Metro Trains.

Adrian Mills, managing director of McCann Melbourne added, “LocalAgentFinder is a smart business that’s going places. Smart clients make agencies smarter, and we couldn’t be more excited about working with Matt McCann and his team to take this business to the next level.”

“The RCJ team is thrilled to be working with LocalAgentFinder, an emerging brand in this exciting and evolving comparison category,” said Carlos Correa, executive director of RCJ.

The new campaign (below) represents a change in direction for the brand, featuring Jason Geary, who has been appointed to the role of chief comparison officer for LocalAgentFinder.com.au.

LocalAgentFinder CEO Matt McCann says Geary’s central role in the new campaign for LocalAgentFinder came at a time where the business is in a significant period of growth.

“Jason Geary is a unique talent in taking on the role of LocalAgentFinder’s Chief Comparison Officer. He is distinctively qualified with the experience to be able to connect with home sellers throughout Australia. We look forward to watching his journey as Chief Comparison Officer of LocalAgentFinder.com.au”

“I can’t wait to flex my muscles in this new role as LocalAgentFinder’s Chief Comparison Officer and show Australians what we’re all about,” added Geary. “There’s nothing more I like than a good old fashioned comparison to find the best person for the job of selling your home.”

The first series of 15- and 30-second TVCs will run in primetime across all major channels show Geary excelling in his new role.
