The National Rugby League (NRL) has thrown its support behind Australia’s vaccination efforts, launching a new vaccination campaign over the weekend.
The 30-second video features a who’s who of playing talent, including Dragons captain Ben Hunt, Panters halfback Nathan Cleary, Sharks back-rower Wade Graham, Rabbitohs hooker Damien Cook and Melbourne Storm front-rower Christian Welch.
The ad comes with the tagline ‘Let’s Tackle This Together’ and encourages fans to visit the government’s official website to find out more.

The NRL said the ad was created alongside the Australian government.
“Personally, I thought it was very important that we get the message across. As elite athletes, we can use our profile to encourage people to go and get the jab,” the Ben Hunt said in a statement, published on NRL.com.
“It’s very important for our game that as many people as we can get [vaccinated] and we can get our game going back to normal.”
