Iconic Australian brand Patties Foods has appointed Leo Burnett Melbourne to take its business to the next level through a marketing and communications strategy focused on innovation, consumer engagement and category growth.
The strategy is to be supported by an increased media investment by the maker of household names, including Nanna’s and Four’N Twenty pies.
The agency will work across the company’s portfolio of brands, including Patties, Herbert Adams, Nanna’s and Four’N Twenty.
Leo Burnett Australia CEO Melinda Geertz said: “We’re absolutely delighted to partner with Patties Foods. It’s a company that’s truly transforming; they’re ambitious for growth, and they share our belief in innovative marketing and communication.
“Their brands are iconic in Australia, and it’s a tremendous opportunity to help shape their future.”
Leo’s appointment is the second major innovation-focused marketing initiative from Patties, following the recent appointment of Anand Surujpal to the role of general manager of marketing and innovation.
“It’s a really exciting time for Patties, and we look forward to achieving some great results with Leo Burnett on board,” Surujpal said.
“Our brands are amongst some of the most-loved brands to Australian consumers.
