Everyone’s favourite telly host Karl Stefanovic is gifting us with a new way to enjoy free to air TV when he becomes a host of a new series.

Stefanovic is spreading his presence at Nine, and has signed on to host the show This Time Next Year, which will look at everyday Aussies achieving monumental goals.

Based on a UK format, the series will follow people who are working towards realising some sort of personal dream over a year period, whether that be falling in love, breaking a world record, or overcoming some kind of hardship.

“This is such a wonderfully positive and unique program. I’m really excited to watch how these people progress and make significant changes in their lives,” Stefanovic said of the show.

The news comes after the breakfast TV host re-signed with Nine to stay at the network.
