Leapmotor Leaps To Aussie Shores In Spectacular Helicopter Stunt Via Cummins & Partners & Channel 7

Leapmotor, EV brand, has arrived in Australia, making a dramatic first impression via Cummins & Partners and Channel 7 with the launch of its fully electric C10 SUV.

Leapmotor teamed up with Channel 7’s Sunrise for a sky-high moment and giveaway, with one winner receiving a brand-new C10, delivered via helicopter touring the NSW coastline.

“Years ago car launches were the biggest thing in marketing. Over time they’ve lost a bit of pizazz and spectacle and we thought we should try to bring some of that back to help establish Leapmotor in Australia. The Leapmotor C10 is a real exemplar in terms of EV automotive technology and the value is extraordinary for its outstanding quality and performance,” said Joanne Stogiannis, director of marketing and communications, Stellantis.

“We’ve done our unfair share of cool car launches and this was one for the ages. I have never seen a car flying through the air…in essence, doing a Leap over the waters to arrive in Australia. As a stunt it was incredible..and being amplified on Sunrise was exceptional,” added Sean Cummins, chief creative officer, Cummins & Partners.

The Leapmotor C10 is now available at dealerships across Australia.

The EV player’s Australian launch follows its CEO’s departure earlier this month. It is unclear whether Michael McConville’s role will be replaced.
