Both KIIS1065 and WSFM1071 brekkie shows have tied for third place in the release of the fourth radio ratings survey for the year.
While the two shows lost per cent points in today’s survey release from research company GfK within the Sydney numbers, the two duos remained rather high.
Currently, Kyle & Jackie O for KIIS1065, one of the Australian Radio Network’s programs (ARN), is sitting at an 8.6 per cent share in the Sydney breakfast radio spot. The pair dropped 1.6 per cent since the last survey.
Jonesy & Amanda from WSFM1071, also with ARN, dropped 0.3 per cent to 8.6 this time around.
Good news for Southern Cross Austereo’s Sydney brekkie show Dan & Maz who jumped up 0.9 per cent to 3.3 currently on the channel 2DayFM Hit 1041.
Alan Jones on 2GB remains the breakfast king with a share of 16.0, up 2.0 since the last survey.
And ABC702 increased its share by 0.1 in the breakfast slot, now at 10.4 per cent, coming second in the Sydney breakfast time slot.
In the drive sessions in Sydney, NOVA969’s Kate, Tim & Marty remained high with an increase of 0.7 per cent to 10.1, coming second to 2GB which has a 10.5 per cent share.
WSFM’s Jason Staveley and KIIS’s Hughsey & Kate weren’t far behind either, with WSFM finding a 9.3 per cent share this survey and KIIS having a 91 per cent share.
In Melbourne breakfast it was 3AW first with 16.5, ABC774 second at 13.4 and TripleM a solid third with 9.6
After 3AW’s lead in the drive slot, KIIS101.1 took second place in Melbourne, with 9.4, closely followed by ABC774 with 8.9.
In Perth brekkie radio the top show was ABC720 with a share of 14.8 per cent, with NOVA93.7 close behind with 12.9 per cent. In the drive slot NOVA took the clear lead with a 15.6 per cent share.
In Brisbane, 97.3FM took the top breakfast slot place, closely followed by NOVA106.9 (13.3) and ABC612 (12.8). Drive saw NOVA106.9 take a whopping slice of the radio ratings pie with a 17.0 share. 97.3FM came up second with 14.5 and hit105.3 in third with 9.9.
And down in little ol’ Adelaide, the breakfast slot winner was easily ABC801 with 16.1 per cent shre. Second was FIVEaa (13.9) and third was MIX102.3 with 12.0. MIX102.3 won the drive slot (15.5), with NOVA919 close behind with 15.1. In third was Fiveaa with 11.2.
