radio host Kyle Sandilands has dropped the vaccination anthem Australia didn’t know it needed, encouraging Aussies to get jabbed.
The just-released song – sure to be played at parties once lockdown is finally over – is set to the tune of Vanilla Ice’s classic Ice, Ice Baby.
Sandilands raps along (yes, raps) and spits iconic lines, like “Get vaxxed baby.” and “Stop, vaccinate and listen, we are back with a brand new injection.”
The anti-vaxx anthem has already racked up over 60,000 views online via Twitter, and almost 10,000 views on YouTube. And, it hasn’t even been remixed yet.
Sandilands also announced on his radio show that Ten has said it will be playing his song in ad breaks on channel Ten and MTV.
The tune is even earning approval from Australian politicians.
Minister for Health of New South Wales, Brad Hazzard, said: “It was a light in my life this morning.”
Prime Minister, Scott Morrison said: “I love get ‘Vaxxed Baby'”
Naturally, Twitter had some conflicting thoughts.
Scott Morrison is officially at the "has the support of Kyle Sandilands" stage of his decline.

Did anyone tip Kyle Sandilands to be a hero in the middle of this pandemic? He’ll get an Australia Day Honour yet! https://t.co/oR2Z8I0n9N

When the NSW govt enlists Ray Hadley and Kyle Sandilands for health messaging we really have reached desperation stakes . Much like having Barnaby Joyce on the Women's Safety Taskforce .

I really love this so so much respect for Kyle doing this. I think this will saves 1000’s of lives and will get more people vaccinated. I think Kyle just saved Australia.

Imagine ignoring scientific evidence and the advice of medical experts, but finally being won over by… this.

The radio host has also clarified he wasn’t paid for the vax rap.
The anthem comes after Sandilands and co-host Jackie O won the Sydney breakfast radio ratings for his network KIIS. Perhaps it’s just a natural progression that he starts running the vaccine rollout as well.
