Keen To Be A Juror For Cannes Lions 2022? Put Your Best Foot Forward Now!

Are you a respected and successful industry leader who enjoys critiquing brilliant work produced by other adlanders?

Well, with The Misfits (publisher of B&T) being Cannes Lions’ official Aussie rep, we’re seeking expressions of interest to be part of the judging process for the world’s pre-eminent awards program for the creative communications industry in 2022.

The dates and the format of judging will be confirmed in due course, those who are keen to be a Cannes Lions juror should keep mid-June 2022 free in their diary. There will also be prelim judging beforehand which you’ll need to be available for, should you be selected to judge.

Australia will be represented in the following juries for Cannes Lions 2022:

  • Brand Experience & Activation
  • Direct
  • Industry Craft
  • Film (at home)
  • Outdoor (at home)
  • Media (at home)
  • PR (at home)
  • Design (at home)

Please note that at-home jurors judge digitally to create the shortlist, but do not partake in discussions to award the Lions.

Each judge must be at chief creative officer or executive creative director level, and must have won a Cannes Lion within the last three years.

To submit your expression of interest to be part of a Cannes Lions Australia jury, sling an email to contact@canneslionsaustralia.com.au, but you’ve only got until Friday 3 December to throw your hat in the ring!

We will then come back to you with confirmation on whether or not The Misfits has nominated you as a judge and for which categories. So, just to clarify, this call-out is for expressions of interest only and does not guarantee you a position on a Cannes Lions jury.

Cannes Lions will then have the final say on who is accepted onto each jury and may also move candidates to different categories, if applicable.
