Independent, Sydney based agency JOY had hired Phil Watson to the newly created role of Creative Strategy Partner, and Katie Chandler to Social Lead.
Watson (pictured right) is joining JOY after running his own ‘Superhybrid’ creative and strategy consultancy. Before that, he was Executive Creative Director at Momentum Worldwide, Creative Partner at The Works and Associate Creative Director at Publicis.
Nicole Milward, managing director of JOY said, “it’s great to be back working with Phil. His slightly unicorn-y combination of creative and strategy expertise across everything from digital to brand to product development makes him uniquely placed to support the diverse work we do for our clients.”
Chandler (pictured left) joins from Daresay at The Works, where she led the growth of their social offerings.
