Can you come up with ideas and make social posts with nothing but a brain and a laptop?

We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Manager/Creative for a 2-3 month contract position, commencing immediately. The role is a secondment within one of our clients’ businesses – one of the countries most high profile brands.

The successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Channels (client side) and indirectly to the Group Account Director (at TABOO).

This is a role for someone who:

  • has 4-6+ years of experience planning and executing social media campaigns for a top-tier brand or publisher (in-house or agency) and developing social media content for a brand in response trends or moments
  • considers themselves a social native – do you find yourself drawn deep into the vortex of Tweets, TikToks and Reddits?
  • has excellent social media copywriting skills with basic design skills – can you make a meme?
  • can adopt a brand tone of voice and engage with an audience like a witty ninja
  • can lead the development of social content strategy, creative and execution across social channels on a campaign and always-on basis
  • can collaborate with internal creative and production teams to execute bigger campaign ideas
  • can execute paid media buys across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and optimise based on performance
  • has strong analytical skills and confidence drawing insights from content and paid media performance
  • is driven, takes initiative and has the ability to lead effectively in ambiguous situations
  • has the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • is energetic and collaborative
