Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

A full time position reporting directly to the General Manager exists where you will be responsible for and proficient in coordinating, implementing and managing marketing campaigns, promotional concepts and events/functions.

The MBA Partnership has been established since 2001 and has grown to be one of the largest accounting, business services and wealth management firms on the Gold Coast. Our head office is in Southport with a secondary office at Coolangatta.

A full time position reporting directly to the General Manager exists where you will be responsible for and proficient in coordinating, implementing and managing marketing campaigns, promotional concepts and events/functions.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Planning, communicating and executing the marketing plan and calendar of activities, promotions and activation ideas
  • The creation of written and visual content for the company’s social media sites.
  • Assisting with the development and management of the company’s online marketing strategies.
  • Coordinating the production and scheduling of social media and online content across our various platforms.
  • Imagery and video compositing for online distribution (including the company’s website).
  • Reporting and measuring engagement across social media channels in order to assess the effectiveness and impact of our social media strategy.
  • General departmental duties such as using the companies CMS to update the company websites, proofreading.

Qualifications and required skills:

  • You will be experienced in marketing, advertising or public relations
  • Possess excellent communication skills, friendly, and positive demeanour
  • Creative and opportunistic, with the ability to “think outside the box”
  • Ability to multitask, and have a high level attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative, yet works well under guidance and direction
  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with team members, clients and other parties
  • Sound understanding of major social media platforms.
  • You will be a social media expert across various platforms and scheduling tools
  • Competent computer knowledge across a range of programs
