A new and exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Social Media Producer to join Seven’s marketing team.

Your role

As a Senior Social Media Producer, you will report to the Head of Social Media and Digital Marketing and drive the social media production and management of some of Australia’s biggest entertainment properties.

You will collaborate with internal teams to create engaging social content that supports our entertainment properties and builds engaged communities to drive awareness of Seven’s priority programming. 

What you’ll do

  • Work with the Head of Social Media and Digital Marketing to generate social media strategies for assigned properties.
  • Manage a Social Media Producer to deliver end-to-end output of engaging and premium social content across assigned Seven’s entertainment channels: Including tentpole shows, Channel 7 and 7plus.
  • Oversee production of promotional and editorial content calendars across assigned social properties.    
  • Work with external productions to identify key content opportunities to drive engagement and reach new audiences.  
  • Work with the wider team with promotional efforts including on-air competitions, and amplification of talent accounts and activity.  
  • Work closely with the Commercial Partnerships Team to ensure branded content campaigns are integrated within the organic content strategy of assigned shows.   
  • Support Digital Marketing Team through generation and scheduling of content for paid social activity.  
  • Quality control the output of the Social Media Producer including ensuring processes for proofing and approvals are upheld and the publication of content is done correctly and constantly optimised.  
  • Work directly with show talent to provide content and support social media activity on their owned channels.  

What you’ll bring

  • A deep seeded passion for Content and Entertainment  
  • Minimum 3-5 years social media experience.
  • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience delivering engaging social media campaigns across fast-paced entertainment environments.
  • The ability to creatively and successfully develop and launch social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • A solid technical understanding of all digital trends and social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Industry best practices.
  • Experience in planning, creating and publishing engaging and quality social content.
  • Proficiency with content production tools such as Adobe Photoshop, video editing software and content workflows.
  • Proven experience using social analytics tools and publishing and moderation platforms desired.
