Senior HR Advisor

We are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our team in Sydney on a full-time, permanent basis.

We are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our team in Sydney on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be responsible for managing the key aspects of HR operations, (including recruitment, employee relations/industrial relations, health and safety, wellbeing, employee engagement and learning and development), as well as delivering a consistent, reliable service to employees and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will have HR experience at an advisory level in a high volume and transactional environment, including experience in recruitment and selection, the ability to interpret legislation, Awards and enterprise agreements, and knowledge of employment law. Previous experience working in a media organisation, union experience and experience working with an HRIS are all highly desirable.

The HR Advisor will also have excellent organisational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills, an exceptional eye for detail, the ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism, effective time management skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations and a diverse range of stakeholders.
