Media Director

As part of the Switched On team, the Media Director oversees the media teams and directs media strategy for key clients to deliver our vision of real business outcomes.

As part of the Switched On team, the Media Director oversees the media teams and directs media strategy for key clients to deliver our vision of real business outcomes.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Provide thought leadership in digital media and marketing to challenge and influence clients.
  • Work with top-tier clients and external partners to deliver best-in-class media solutions.
  • Deliver quantifiable results that demonstrate a high accountability for business and team goals.
  • Build senior client relationships to retain and grow key accounts.
  • Develop strong, strategic partnerships with publishers that deliver value, innovation and revenue.
  • Assist in winning new business by working closely with the executive team and partner agencies across WPP.

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • A degree in a relevant field, including advertising, business, economics mathematics, statistics.
  • In-depth marketing experience.
  • Strong leadership experience.
  • A track record of commercial success.
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of performance marketing from search to social, and programmatic to video and native.
  • Experience with third-party platforms (DV360, SA 360, Facebook, Google Analytics, Adobe Ad Cloud etc.).
  • Thought-leadership credentials, including publications, panel appearances or awards.
