Reporting directly to the Head of Market Research, you’ll use your superior Data mining skills to uncover consumer and shopper insights and communicate these to key stakeholders within the business. With a strong focus on Digital and CRM data sources, you’ll use contemporary research tools to develop strategies around enhancing consumer online engagement, shaping communication channel selection and effecting shopper behaviour. This will include attrition and predicting modelling techniques, and also the establishment of data dashboards for easy reporting purposes. You’ll develop new techniques and processes for data collection and analysis, using your knowledge of eCommerce platforms, social channels and web analytics.  As an ambassador for Data Analytics, you’ll enthuse and inspire the broader team to embrace this thinking in all strategic planning. The work will include both ongoing programs as well as specific Projects and ad-hoc campaigns.

To excel in this role, you’ll need at least three to five years’ experience in a similar role, incorporating quantitative analysis, use of online research tools and the ability to work with large, complex sets of data. Knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce and programs including Tableau, SQL and Python is essential. Exposure to the FMCG industry is helpful but not mandatory. You will need exceptional communication skills – both in day-to-day stakeholder management and in presenting at senior levels within the business and to the trade. You may have worked in a Digital Media agency, a corporate environment or another FMCG business – most important is an innate curiosity and passion for contributing to well-informed, data-driven Marketing decisions.
