Marketing Communications Manager

Dynamic, rapidly growing financial services firm is seeking a passionate Marketing Communications Manager to join their dynamic Marketing team due to growth and internal promotions.
This key role will see you manage and coordinate the planning, development and delivery of integrated online / offline marketing communications for the brand in order to deliver a seamless brand journey for the customer across all touch points and all advertising mediums, channels and devices.

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing Communications, you will:

  • Manage the strategic planning of marketing activity and end to end campaign management
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing plans and campaigns for the assigned brand
  • Coordinate and control agencies to ensure the business maintains end-to-end accountability for the marketing campaign and the brand
  • Guide and advise creative agencies, copywriters and content developers to ensure campaigns are integrated and consistent with the strategy
  • Development of brand content – develop and maintain a comprehensive range of marketing materials, collateral and customer communications
  • Champion each brand and ensure adherence to brand guidelines in all communication activity
  • Develop and manage brand guidelines for all briefing and other material used to guide and advise agents, agencies and suppliers
  • Budget management – manage campaign budgets and monitor and process invoices


A highly organised and passionate generalist marketer, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant marketing or business discipline
  • 6 to 8 years’ broad marketing experience with direct response exposure, preferably in financial services
  • Proven ability to manage large scale marketing campaigns – both ATL and BTL
  • Experience in traditional media channels including the creative development for TV, radio, print and direct mail
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, and experience managing creative and production budgets
  • Good understanding of digital marketing with exposure to SEM, SEO, display, video, eDM and social media
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship development experience with the ability to manage partners and internal and external stakeholders
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven initiative and creativity in a direct marketing environment
  • Previous experience working in financial services or insurance marketing financial products and with direct marketing principles will be highly regarded
