Leading technology, corporate and performance marketing agency – Howorth, part of Ogilvy PR – is looking for a Head of Technology who wants to build their career working with some of the world’s best – known brands, delivering award-winning campaigns, telling captivating stories, and inspiring real business change.

Howorth is a team of 30+ who work across some of the world’s and Australia’s best-known brands including Microsoft, Atlassian, American Express, SAP, Canon, Telstra to name a few.

Who are you…

As someone who is head of in our business you are the established go-to expert in your field – internally and externally. 

You are a mentor for our people and some of our clients and you are at the forefront of bringing what’s new from the outside, into our world and our clients’ worlds.

Your networks are extensive, and you leverage them to add value to clients, grow our business and your practice, and bring out the best of Ogilvy PR.

In this role you are a key leader in our business and across Ogilvy PR helping build and shape the agency. Working alongside the MD you play a key role in driving what’s next, coaching our people, supporting our clients and driving new business.

Here’s the relevant expertise you have, that we’ll build on: 

  • The ability to craft and lead a campaign, working in collaboration with several teams across the Ogilvy Network
  • Tight project management – including from formulation to evaluation
  • Sound knowledge of technology market trends and the key media who report on it
  • Strong communications/editing skills and the ability to teach and guide colleagues
  • Credible counsel and creativity that make your clients trust you
  • Good understanding of B2B social media experience
  • Strong history of leading new business
  • Can foster strong, cohesive working interdisciplinary teams of more than 15 people
  • Has a long history of forging strong relationships with clients and a track record of managing multi-million dollar accounts
