Digital Strategy Manager

We are in search for an experienced Digital Strategy Manager to manage our strategic development of integrated digital-led campaigns.Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Planning, the successful candidate will lead the strategy on existing digital client base and assist in the agency new business effort.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Provide strategic digital recommendations for the agency’s largest digital accounts
  • Lead strategy on existing digital client base and support in pitching new business
  • Negotiate agency partnerships based on best outcome for our clients
  • Budget forecasting and management across all digital mediums
  • Plan and manage digital media campaigns
  • Report & post analysis of digital campaigns
  • Manage relationships internally and externally in a positive and pro-active manner
  • Confidently present digital strategy to clients, working with the Involved Media team on integrated campaign ideas
  • Oversee set-up & Ad-serve digital campaigns; from creating ad specs sheets, campaign trafficking to tag deployment
  • Ensure optimum negotiations and cost management
  • Monitor CPM value from client to client
  • Monitor digital campaigns ensuring they are pacing correctly, and all learnings are recorded and presented back to the client

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 4 years media agency or digital publisher experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of digital media ad servers such as Google Campaign Manager
  • Confidence in delivering strategic digital recommendations across multiple channels
  • Experience with effective digital attribution models
  • Experience working with data management platforms (DMP’s)
  • Intermediate knowledge of the following
    • Digital media metrics and media reporting for Display, Video, Social and Programmatic
    • Programmatic media including DV360 (basic knowledge will be considered)
    • Digital media metrics and previous experience with media reporting for Display, Social, Video, Native and Biddable media
    • Google Analytics
    • Varied digital marketing channels such as, Display, Social, Video, Native and Programmatic media (basic knowledge will be considered)
    • Microsoft Office tools ie Excel, PowerPoint
    • Experience using media analysis tools such as Roy Morgan Asteroid, Global Web Index, Nielsen Net Ratings, ComScore, Nielsen AdX
