Digital Content Marketing Manager

Gate 7 is currently looking for a Digital Content Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the strategy, creation, and management of Gate 7’s brand and presence across owned and earned channels, email, and social. In addition, the Digital Content Marketing Manager will maintain and further develop the Gate 7 Resource Centre Portal and Ontraport CRM with a focus on data integrity, workflow automation, and continued adoption by peers. Finally they will manage the social / digital presence for some of our client projects.

Our mission: To increase incremental visitation to all our client destinations and products through all aspects of tourism promotion, including integrated public relations, trade training, consumer marketing, content and digital marketing and media strategy.



  • Sole owner of Gate 7’s WordPress website including analytics, content, edits, team bios, clients, Resource Centre updates, integrations, and overall website health.
  • Develop and execute Gate 7’s social strategy (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) with an emphasis on audience growth, building awareness, and establishing authority for the agency
  • Responsible for Gate 7 case studies including ideation (in collaboration with Trade, PR, and Leadership Teams), creation, design, and distribution
  • Create content for Gate 7 and clients (as required) including social posts, website copy, newsletters, case studies, and email campaigns (Ontraport / MailChimp)
  • Build lists and groups within our CRM system (Ontraport/MailChimp) to support targeted campaigns
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing Gate 7’s proprietary client and contact database including data integrity, database growth, segmentation and automation support, and continued refinement to support business needs.
  • Report on performance of marketing activity and critically evaluate proposals & partnerships
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the PR team including pitch development


  • 3-5 years’ experience in a digital/content marketing role with some experience as a pure website manager or website content manager (WordPress preferred)
  • You bring a hands on, results focused, positive can-do attitude to creating, managing, and analyzing multi-channel marketing projects that include multiple stakeholders
  • You have experience managing everything from technical Customer Relationship Management software implementations (bonus points if you know Ontraport) through to organic social media content creation and paid social advertising campaigns
  • Passionate about content marketing and have created numerous strategies that use data-driven insights to identify various types of content to drive specific outcomes
  • You balance robust creativity with an analytical mindset that understands campaign measurement and evaluation
