Digital Channel Specialist

The Digital Channel Specialist designs and implements digital engagement communications for our diverse and global alumni community. This role brings to life digital content that elevates brand awareness to engage, attract and grow our network. This is an exciting opportunity to work creatively to execute captivating and high-quality content in line with our overarching strategy for the whole university.

  • Employment Type: 12 months Fixed term
  • Remuneration: $99,338-$107,513 + 17% Superannuation
  • Location: Kensington, NSW (Hybrid Flexible Working Model)

Why Your Role Matters:              

The Digital Channel Specialist designs and implements digital engagement communications for our diverse and global alumni community.  This role brings to life digital content that elevates brand awareness to engage, attract and grow our network. This is an exciting opportunity to work creatively to execute captivating and high-quality content in line with our overarching strategy for the whole university.

This role sits with the Central Alumni Team and works closely with the Faculty External Engagement Teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content across multiple digital platforms, including websites, newsletters, eDMs and social media platforms
  • Continually optimise website experience
  • Work with internal stakeholders to design and deliver a superior digital experience
  • Design and execute the alumni engagement social media strategy
  • Working collaboratively with Faculty External Engagement Teams

Who You Are:

This role will suit a content creation superstar – someone who is innovative in their approach and across all social platforms and eDM’s in particular.

  • Relevant qualification coupled with experience in digital communications
  • Previous experience within higher education beneficial but not essential
  • Very strong oral, visual and written communication skills
  • Sound understanding of digital and social media marketing, including SEM, SEO
  • Previous experience creating and executing content on various platforms
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of engagement analytics and reporting
