Content & Events Campaign Manager

We are looking for a Content and Events Campaign Manager responsible for the end-to-end operational and implementation/workflow management. The role manages campaign metrics and budgets of all high-value strategic branded content campaigns managed by Rare Creative (which include Qantas and their tourism partners, David Jones, Bunnings, American Express Centurion, Hays Recruitment and Furi Knives) and high-value advertisers.

Medium Rare, Australia’s leading content marketing agency, is in growth and is hiring a Content and Events Campaign Manager responsible for the end-to-end operational and implementation/workflow management.  The role manages campaign metrics and budgets of all high-value strategic branded content campaigns managed by Rare Creative (which include Qantas and their tourism partners, David Jones, Bunnings, American Express Centurion, Hays Recruitment and Furi Knives) and high-value advertisers. 

You’ll take a leadership position in the talented team at Rare Creative, the agency’s fast-growing branded content studio that manages strategy, editorial and marketing partnerships for the agency.  The role will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders working extremely closely with our Content and Partnerships Editor to design and implement best in class marketing campaigns and improved practices for client interaction and service. The successful candidate will manage the smooth running of client campaigns across video, social, print, EDM and website and ensure they are delivered on time, to budget, and with excellence. The key role helps to drive profitability by managing client P&Ls.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

This is a hands-on role, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing team workloads, a reliable and steadfast manner — even under pressure — and a knack for problem-solving while juggling multiple deadlines and projects:

  • A proactive, solutions-driven professional who can drive positive, productive communication with multiple stakeholders 
  • Ability to take a leadership role in directing campaigns on a day-to-day basis to optimise and refine creative production processes to ensure the editorial, design and video team is operating efficiently
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with different people across all areas of business, including both internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and the ability to plan multiple, concurrent projects
  • Ability to set and follow project schedules and timelines
  • Ability to balance creative and commercial mindsets 
  • Ability to manage client needs and balance the workloads of internal staff
  • Ensure commissioning budgets across campaigns for print and digital, including invoicing
  • Organises and manages external vendors 
  • Oversees post-campaign reporting and ensuring campaigns are delivered to KPIs
  • Management of all Rare Creative trade collateral 
  • Management of content management tool, raising POs, invoices and set up of contributors
  • Acts as the conduit between Rare Creative and Travel insider Producer and assists in building UTMs for client campaigns, organising and facilitating optimisation of content, creating critical path solus edm timelines
  • Supporting Rare Creative Editors in sourcing imagery for client campaigns, working with photographers, agencies and freelancers
  • Assists Head of Rare Creative on key projects and ensures positive commercial outcomes
  • Attends and arranges content shoots as necessary
