We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Audience and Content Editor to join the commercial team in our Sydney office.

Guardian Labs (GLabs) is a creative commercial team working with brands to create new and innovative partnerships, products and communities that build, grow, and extend audience reach and engagement.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Audience and Content Editor to join the commercial team in our Sydney office. This role will be responsible for managing off-platform channels, including growing performance and engagement metrics, crafting strong social copy, and development/implementation of innovative social formats.
The Commercial Audience and Content Editor will be a key member of the GLabs team who can fuse creative thinking with data-led insights and strong copy skills, to assist with publishing creative content and crafting innovative responses to client pitches. There may also be the opportunity to expand to a client facing role and take on more copy development.
This position would suit a creative, lateral thinker with a media, publisher or agency background and experience working in a fast-paced digital environment. We are seeking an individual with a good working knowledge of SEO, social media, eDM and digital publishing, as well as a strong understanding of content strategy and digital marketing.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong editing and copy-writing skills, the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams and a strong interest in social media platforms and growing social trends.
