The world’s #1 job site*, Indeed, has partnered with leading Australian podcast agency, The Peers Project to launch diversity and inclusion podcast series ‘Hire Potential with Indeed’.

The new podcast, presented by Indeed Australia, delves into the way some of Australia’s most innovative leaders and companies are working to build welcoming workplaces that are diverse, inclusive, accessible, and open to all employees.

‘Hire Potential with Indeed’ explores the obstacles and opportunities companies of all sizes are currently facing to find and hire top talent, and how we can learn from each other to create the best opportunities for job seekers and employees.

Inspired by the Indeed Diversity & Inclusion Hiring Report – an annual initiative in its second year – this podcast explores modern concerns for the modern workplace covering topics such as ‘Welcoming Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples’, ‘Avoiding Tokenistic Hires’, ‘Intersectionality In The Workplace’ and ‘Using Pronouns and Other Gender-Inclusive Language in the Office’.

Jay Munro, senior manager of country marketing, Australia at Indeed said, “building diversity and inclusion isn’t a one-time action, it needs to evolve and be continually reviewed and reinforced by leaders.”

“In ‘Hire Potential with Indeed’, we speak with businesses who are committed to fostering workplaces that are rich in diversity and truly inclusive and hope that their stories and lived practices will inspire other employers to create safe environments in which all employees feel comfortable to be their true selves at work.”

Michelle Akhidenor, chief executive officer of The Peers Project said: “We are proud to partner with leading job site, Indeed to facilitate important conversations about diversity and inclusion in the workplace and know that company executives and industry leaders alike will be able to learn, find inspiration and enjoy listening to the podcast.”

“We are thrilled to have collaborated with a progressive brand like Indeed who support and champion diversity and inclusion in the workplace.”

The ‘Hire Potential with Indeed’ podcast launches August 9, 2021 and will air with new episodes every fortnight.
