JCDecaux Donates $31M To Help Restore Notre-Dame

JCDecaux is donating €20 million ($AU31 million) to help restore the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, following the fire that burnt down a significant amount of the French site.

While the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, there has been significant damage to the 800 year old building.

As such, JCDecaux Holding will provide €20 million to help restore the iconic cathedral.

JCDecaux SA has also committed to use its advertising space to provide global visibility for fundraising efforts to help rebuild Notre-Dame.

It has also vowed to help the French government with creative, architectural and financial help to rebuild the centuries-old cathedral.
