If there was better motivation for taking the stairs rather than the escalator than this, I’d like to see it.
Tweeted by @Brilliant_ads “Smart idea from the Japanese government to encourage people to use the stairs”, the stairs feature how many calories (or parts of calories) you’re burning as you take each step.
So if it’s 0.1 calorie every step, ten steps equals one calorie. So after eating that 35g Cherry Ripe today with 162 calories in it, I would need to walk up these stairs 1620 times.
