Jackie Frank To Hand Over The Reins of Marie Claire Editorship

Jackie Frank is taking on a new wider role at Pacific Magazines.




Jackie Frank has confirmed she will no longer edit Marie Claire magazine, the publication she has helmed for nearly 20 years.

It opens up a coveted job in magazine circles, with Australia’s up-and-coming editors expected to clamour for the top job.

Frank, who will play a role in choosing her successor, told Confidential yesterday “it’s extremely emotional”.

“But I think the time is right,” she said. “We are in an industry that is undergoing a number of rapid changes and it is kind of exciting to be able to take a big picture approach, a more strategic approach, rather than the day-to-day.”
