Isobar Australia is working with the Capital Airport Group to align its ‘every minute matters’ in-person experience to its digital customer touch points.

Focusing on the design principle ‘the best little airport in the world’, Isobar worked closely with Capital Airport Group, its staff and customers to reimagine the Group’s digital channels and experiences and overhaul its website to create a new online ecosystem for the growing brand.

Isobar Sydney and Canberra general manager Thomas Tearle said: “With domestic and international services, one of the most impressive airport terminals in the country, multiple thriving business and retail precincts, Capital Airport Group is one of the most impressive companies in Australia.

“Its improvements to the design of Canberra Airport are a testament to the brand and the new landmark that Canberrans are so proud of.

“We are delighted to be able to extend the enhanced airport experience the physical environment provides visitors to the site by facilitating the smoothest and most enjoyable digital experience.”

Capital Airport Group head of marketing and communications Melissa Evans said: “We are delighted to be able to extend the enhanced airport experience to our digital customers.

“We believe the airport needs to reflect the quality of life our city offers and be a fitting first and last impression of a journey through Canberra.

“That’s why we are so focused on providing the best quality experience to our many domestic and international travellers and our online guests.

“Isobar’s extensive five-year experience delivering strategy, research and customer experience design to the Group’s airport, business parks, shopping centre, and land development arm established the agency as our preferred partner to create an enjoyable digital airport experience.”

Won through a competitive pitch, the Capital Airport Group project is the second major digital ecosystem redesign delivered by Isobar in Canberra this year.

The first was for the newly formed energy distributor, Evo Energy, formerly ActewAGL.

Tearle said: “Our work is representative of the growth of our service offering and team in Canberra, which recently tripled in size, and positions Isobar as the leading digital agency in the region.”
