Oliver Rapson, CEO iProspect Australia, has announced the appointment of three new executives and a promotion from within.

Since the appointment of Marcelle Gomez as General Manager of the Sydney office in January this year, the agency has now further strengthened the leadership team following growth from new and existing clients.

“We are looking forward to what the extended team will bring for iProspect and our clients, particularly across our offering of tech, data, content and commerce, and be ready for whatever challenges and opportunities come our way,” said Rapson.

Marcelle Gomez added, “iProspect has been through a transformation journey as a business and we are now working at the intersection of brand and performance to help drive business growth for our clients that also builds brands.”

Nicola Barnes joins iProspect as Group Investment Director.   With over 10 years’ experience in media, Nicola joins from Carat where she was Media Investment Director.  Originally from the UK she moved to Australia in 2017 to join Carat Melbourne and led the Mondelez account and in 2019 joined Carat Sydney working on Greenstone Insurance, with a heavy investment strategy.  “This leadership team is a true representation of what it looks like to bring together the perfect combination of strategic planning, performance optimisation and marketing activation,” Barnes said.

Jason Smith comes to iProspect as Client Partner. With over 20 years in the industry in both London and Australia, Jason will lead a team of 14 people, overseeing several key iProspect clients, including Ampol, Air NZ, Abbott, William Grant & Sons etc.  Jason has previously wored with Ikon, Bohemia and Zenith in Australia.

“I’m thrilled to join iProspect at a time when the business is undergoing significant evolution on a global scale,” Smith said.

Chris Jahnsen also joins as Client Partner.  With a strong track record building cross-functional teams across government and agency-side, Chris previously held lead marketing positions with tourist related companies in Cairns over the past 5 years.  Prior to this he spent 4 years with iProspect in Melbourne as Digital Performance Director.

“It’s an exciting time to be part of iProspect and see its evolution towards the performance-driven end-to-end global media agency it is today,” Jahnsen said.

Sam Bremner has been promoted to Client Partner at iProspect.  During his 7 years with the company he has risen through the ranks to Senior Digital Strategist, Digital Director (leading $20m+ billings and two of the largest national clients), and now his current role of Client Partner.

“Our clients have a unique set of aspirations and challenges they are facing and the team and capability we have puts us in a prime position to drive their businesses forward,” added Bremner.

“We are very fortunate to have such a strong team working with our clients and team, supporting me in taking the company forward to the next level.  I am truly excited about our future at iProspect,” Gomez said.
