IPG Mediabrands’ performance agency Reprise has been awarded the strategy and creative account for the Australian and New Zealand launch of General Motors Specialty Vehicles.
Reprise was awarded the business after a series of international and national presentations and the appointment will be the first time General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) has advertised in Australia and New Zealand. The appointment follows a significant boost to Reprise’s strategy and creative capabilities.
In the coming months Reprise will assist GMSV in new-model launches of the Silverado Trail Boss and mid-engine supercar the Corvette C8. Both are iconic international General Motors marques and will be available in Australia fully converted to right-hand drive.
“We chose Reprise for our strategy and creative assignments because of their vision for how various communications channels can be harnessed to promote our vehicles,” said Jodie Lennon (main photo), general manager of marketing, CX, Commsat GMSV.
“At its core, GMSV offers a niche product range which appeals to a specific audience of passionate enthusiasts. We feel that this consideration, when partnered with Reprise’s extensive customer insight and understanding, will deliver the best possible results as we launch iconic vehicles from our range.”
Marcelo Andrade, head of strategy, creative and content at Reprise, said the new assignment from GMSV was an opportunity to help launch new products into ANZ with a different communications platform.
