Industry Gathers For Launch Of Rumbletown, With Guest Speaker Mark Ritson

250 of Queensland’s top marketers, creatives, media and production people turned out for the official launch of Rumbletown, the evolution of leading Brisbane independent agency Rumble.

Professor Mark Ritson set the tone for the evening with his insightful and entertaining address, “Taking the Middle Path”.

Welcoming guests, Rumbletown co-founder and managing partner Remy Brassac explained how the warm reception Rumble had enjoyed since opening in 2014 had enabled he and his partners, Nancy Hartley and James Burchill, to help other top professionals step out and become business owners and business leaders.

The Rumble founders started digital sibling Romeo in 2015, then start-up and SME specialist Edison in 2016.

In 2017 they partnered with Donna Kramer and Adam Brunes to create PR hotshop Aruga, and in 2018 launched Scout media in partnership with former Ikon heavyweight Shelley Cook.

Said Brassac, “Together we’ve created this township of specialisation, where clients can work with the best of breed in any or every field, and know the people they love dealing with will be there for the long run.”

The ‘Uptown Funk’ themed launch party was held on the newly acquired top floor of Rumbletown’s West End digs – now known as “Uptown” and “Downtown”.

Rumbletown has three finalists in the B&T Awards to be announced next Friday. Rumble is shortlisted for Independent Agency of the Year and State Agency of the Year, and Aruga for PR Agency of the Year.
