“I Married A Battleaxe!” Game Show Contestant Hilariously Skewers “Rotten” Family

A Wheel Of Fortune contestant in the US has gone viral after he used his appearance on the show to unload on his “loveless marriage” and “rotten” family.

Californian truck driver and owner of an incredibly impressive beard, Blair Davis, used his introduction from the show’s host Pat Sajak to air the family’s ‘dirty laundry’.

“I’ve been trapped in a loveless marriage for the last 12 years to an old battleaxe named Kim,” Davies declared.

“She cursed my life with three stepchildren named Star, RJ and Ryan, and I have one rotten grandson.”

Sajak responded: “No wonder you came here, you just wanted to get away from everybody!”

Mercifully, it appears Davis’ humour is as impressive as his facial hair. He then revealed it was all a gag and, in fact, he loved his family “like nobody’s business”.

Check out the performance below (however, it’s unclear if he managed to take home any actual prizes.)

Later, Davis told Inside Edition he’d planned the intro well beforehand.

“People have been watching the show for so long, and people typically have a template on how they introduce their loved ones, and I thought nah, I didn’t want to do that.

“It’s a once in a lifetime experience and I wanted to give them a once in a lifetime introduction,” he said.
