Ikon Wins Evolis Brand After Competitive Pitch

Ikon Group Sydney’s full service offering continues to attract new clients, with the agency appointed by listed biotechnology company, Cellmid Limited , to build on its évolis hair loss brand.

Charged with developing a new brand positioning and strategy for the clinically-proven evolis hair loss products, Ikon’s remit includes creative, digital, social, content, SEO, SEM, and pharmacy Point of Sale. Ikon was appointed to the Cellmid account following a competitive pitch.

A topical and largely botanical hair-loss product, évolis has recently moved from beta testing in select channels into full distribution in pharmacies opening broad opportunities for the brand to engage directly with consumers.

“I believe our passion, honesty and willingness to challenge the norm plus the agency’s breadth of full service capabilities won us the business,” explained Ikon Group Sydney’s managing director Pat Crowley. “We’re excited to be able to support all elements of Cellmid® business as the evolis® brand enters this new and exciting phase of its development”.

Ikon Group Sydney’s head of amplification Pia Coyle said: “The freedom to respond with our full service offering means we can focus on delivering a compelling campaign strategy for the évolis brand that stands it apart from the category. Ikon’s team can’t wait to get started.”

“We aspire to build confidence in our customers through the quality and performance of our products,” added Maria Halasz, CEO and managing director of Cellmid. “We wanted an agency that could communicate these core values and create a compelling and aspirational brand, distinct from the category. We believe we have found an excellent partner in Ikon Group Sydney to help us turbo-charge the business towards the market.”
