Ikon has added 12 new clients to its agency register coming into 2013, adding an estimated $48m to billings.
Among the clients is a re-appointment to manage media for the Labor Federal Election campaign, with a general election having to be called by the end of the year.
Other new clients include Clinique, Estee Lauder with digital media, and retailer Bing Lee in Sydney, with Ego Pharmaceuticals, the Open Universities Australia digital performance media account and Peet clients choosing Melbourne.
The Brisbane office has also fared well adding ERM Energy, CrimeStoppers Queensland, BrisConnections and the Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland to its roster.
CEO Dan Johns said the appointments showed the move to ‘dial up’ digital services in the past 12 months was now paying off for the agency.
He added: “Given the work we’ve undertaken to ensure our skills set has broadened significantly in recent times, it’s encouraging to see that we’re being appointed for specialist capabilities in the areas of
digital, search and performance media.
“This bodes well for the year ahead and our ability to respond to more complex client requirements.”
The independently licensed Adelaide agency, part of kwp! Advertising, has also won new business since launching last January, including Best Friends Pet Stores and RSPCA SA.
