Surely, everyone can remember the famous “tortoise and hare” tale of our youths? Well, B&T can’t remember the exact details of it, suffice to say we do recall the tortoise going on to snatch victory in arguably one of the most famous races in history.
And the two combatants are at it again in the latest work for IKEA in the UK.
The spot, promoting IKEA’s bedroom range and the advantages of a good night sleep, is the work of creative agency Mother London and sees the hard-living hare again being out-foxed by the well-rested tortoise.
Alongside the TVC, which was directed by Sam Pilling (Aldi, KFC and Coors), the campaign will also appear across social media, and in a series of posters that further emphasise the benefits of sleep.
