ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia has today announced a new partnership with one of the fastest-growing news outlets for millennials, The Daily Aus.

The partnership will help The Daily Aus continue to grow their audience base and enable a broader suite of brands to connect with young Australians seeking out easily digestible and accessible news. It will also help ARN get down with the kids, which would be lit.

For those lucky few who don’t have an Instagram account, The Daily Aus is a social-first news service that’s rapidly making waves in podcasts as proven in their Australian Podcast Ranker debut last month.

It was founded by Zara Seidler (featured image, left) and Sam Koslowski (right), two twenty-somethings who decided to make a business out of explaining the news to their friends. The Daily Aus now tackles stories that matter, empowering young Australians to be part of important conversations.

In the lead up to the federal election, The Daily Aus has also launched the topical series No Silly Questions, featuring in-depth interviews with key politicians, experts, and advocates, arming young Australians with all the information they need in the leadup to the election.

“ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network is proud to partner with The Daily Aus to deliver news to an even broader audience,” said ARN’s head of digital audio, Corey Layton.

“Sam and Zara have created an incredible brand that explains the stories that matter to young Aussies, deserving of their ever growing list of accolades and online dominance.

“The Daily Aus joins an array of diverse podcasts in the network, across multiple genres, that specifically speak to millennials, which further benefits our advertising partners.”

The Daily Aus co-founder and host, Sam Koslowski commented, “There’s nothing in the Australian news podcast market for young people, by young people. The Daily Aus is here to change that – and it’s great to be recognised in the Podcast Ranker.

“We’re off to a flying start with the team at ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network and are so excited to be working with such a successful and respected organisation. Our podcasts punch well above their weight, and we are pumped to put some serious resources behind them to become the leaders in youth news.”

The Daily Aus and No Silly Questions are available via the free iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.
