Household Capital Announces Sparro As Digital Partner

Sparro has been chosen as Household Capital’s partner to handle its digital media, content, SEO and social creative.

Household Capital provides Australian retirees with access to home equity to improve their long term retirement funding, helping retirees by enhancing retirement income, offering access to capital and improving retirement housing.

This approach aims to give retirees the comfort of living in their family home alongside the financial freedom for their preferred lifestyle.

“The Australian reverse mortgage market is around $300 billion and largely untapped. We’re looking forward to raising category awareness first and foremost, and educating Australians on the benefits of home equity release to enhance retirement outcomes,” says Jessica Horgan, senior content specialist at Sparro.

Mario Garrido (pictured), chief marketing officer at Household Capital, is excited by the business’s first major agency appointment.

“We’ve got a huge amount of growth ahead, and we’re ready to get stuck in with Sparro. Digital is where a new brand like ours can have an immediate but lasting impact on customers, and Sparro showed that they could think and execute right through the funnel.”

“They’re a great team of people who bring tremendous knowledge, experience and a clear ability to add value.”

Cam Bryant, co-founder and partner at Sparro, adds: “It’s a great opportunity to work with an incredible brand and showcase our agency’s skills across data, content, creative and media. We love working with brands like this in a full-service capability and helping solve a real problem for Australians.”

Household Capital joins Sparro’s growing client base including Catch, AON Australia, MoneyMe and Showpo. The agency employs over 100 staff and acquired social-first creative agency Jack Nimble in November.
