Host/Havas Retains Creative & Digital Duties For Australian Defence Force Recruiting

Australian Defence Force Recruiting (ADFR) has re-appointed Host/Havas to handle its creative advertising and digital services, after signalling a tender process late last year.

A contract notice on the ADFR website says Host/Havas will continue to work with the government department on the account, which is worth just under $22 million, until 31 March 2019.

The news comes after the ADFR put out a tender notice in October last year for a pitch consultant “to provide specialist advice and support throughout a procurement process to be conducted by DFR for an agency to deliver creative advertising and digital services”.

Havas Worldwide won the account in 2013 after being in the hands of GPY&R for more than a decade.

Host/Havas declined to comment when contacted by B&T.
