H&M Launches Free 24-Hour Suit Hire For Men With Job Interviews

Fashion retailer H&M has launched the ONE/SECOND/SUIT initiative, which allows customers to book a full outfit – a navy suit and tie, white shirt and red handkerchief – for free over a 24 hour period.

The aim of the initiative is to support young men when they are attending job interviews by boosting their confidence. The suit hire process is completely free. You can register online, and the suit will be delivered to your house.

After the 24 hours is done, the suit should then be returned to an H&M store, where they will dry clean it.

On the H&M website, they have listed a number of confidence-boosting job interviews tips, including: “Be early. Give yourself the time you need to arrive calm, collected and at your best” and “Have an opinion. No one’s expecting you to have all the answers. But they will want to know what you think about the job, the company and the industry.”

The campaign was developed by Uncommon Creative Studio in London.

It has already rolled out in the UK, and will launch in the US in May, though there is no word as to whether it will be released in other markets too.
