Communications agency History Will Be Kind (HWBK) has welcomed two new team members to help bolster the agency’s travel and third-sector offering.
In the role of senior account director, Lizzy Chadwick joins the senior leadership team from GTI, a leading marketing and PR agency for the travel and leisure industries. With over 13 years’ experience, Chadwick is an integrated operator who has led award winning campaigns for global brands like Marriott International, W Hotels and LATAM Airlines. Chadwick is heading up a number of key travel accounts, including the launch of Sydney Airport’s new luxury retail precinct located at T1 International terminal and Celebrity Cruises.
L-R: Taylah O’Neill, Lizzy Chadwick and Jack Hazeldine
Jack Hazeldine has been appointed as account manager, joining from an in-house role at St Mungo’s, the UK’s leading homelessness charity. Prior to this, Hazeldine worked for a boutique agency servicing clients across the tech, creative and innovation sectors, working with global brands including Panasonic and Penguin Random House with a focus on thought leadership. Hazeldine will work across a portfolio that spans not-for-profit with the McGrath Foundation, to consumer tech with Google.
Alongside the new hires, HWBK has celebrated an internal promotion with Taylah O’Neill stepping up to account executive. Having started with the business as an intern in 2020, O’Neill joined the team full time in March 2022, having retired from a stellar career as a professional athlete, representing Australia as part of the 2022 Winter Olympics. With a passion for health, sport and travel, O’Neill is lending her expertise to client partners including Therabody and ChristchurchNZ.
E-J Granleese, founder and managing partner at History Will Be Kind, said, “We’re delighted to welcome Lizzy and Jack to the team, alongside supporting the career growth of some fantastic junior talent in Taylah. With diverse backgrounds and experience in the mix, it’s fantastic to be able to draw on the team’s expertise as we embed a number of new client wins and re-appointments, including Sydney Airport, Heinemann Duty Free, Etihad and ChristchurchNZ.”
HWBK is proudly part of the Deepend Group, an independent, digital communications and innovation consultancy group. The portfolio includes Deepend (Digital), How To Impact (Innovation), Nomad (Emerging Tech) and History Will Be Kind (Communications).
