On the back of its recent Purplebricks Real Estate Agents win, VCCP Sydney has swiftly followed up its success by winning the competitive pitch for hipages, Australia’s largest online marketplace to find and hire trusted tradies to get those household jobs and home improvements done.
Known for its creative work on ING Direct, Compare The Market, Ancestry.com and Fitness First, VCCP Sydney will be responsible for all creative including social and digital.
Tracy Richardson, chief marketing officer at hipages said: “We went to market looking for a crackerjack creative agency and we were wowed by VCCP. Their pitch gave us a great insight into the thinking, processes, team dynamics, leadership and fit with hipages. And, critically, the horsepower of the creative engine underpinning their work.
“VCCP demonstrated an unnatural knack to nail our tone of voice, unpack insights, extract every ounce of delight from every concept they presented. They just seem to get us to the bone.”
Gary Dawson, executive creative director, VCCP Sydney said: “hipages is a brand every Australian should be familiar with. Our aim is simple, to make hipages the first name you turn to when you need a tradie to get the job done. These are exciting times for hipages and VCCP Sydney.”
David Kennedy-Cosgrove, managing partner, VCCP Sydney said: “As a challenger agency for challenger brands, we’re ecstatic to be partnering with hipages to help change the way Australians do business.
“We bonded over a shared understanding of how digital service brands work to disrupt the market for the betterment of the consumer. Tech inevitably makes life simpler and more connected, and hipages is leading the charge to simplify the way Australians and tradies alike do business together.”
