Hendrick’s Gin Teams Up With Banxa For Direct Fiat Purchase Of Exclusive New NFT Artwork

BANXA, the full-stack Fiat to Web3 on-and-off ramp, today announces a new partnership with Hendrick’s Gin via Wavemaker Belgium, part of global marketing behemoth WPP, to facilitate non-fungible token (NFT) purchases with Fiat currency on the iconic brand’s newly launched NFT webshop.

The premium branded NFT webshop, built by integrated CRM and commerce platform Sayl on the Hedera blockchain, uses Banxa’s direct Fiat-to-NFT solution creating greater access to a broader audience. Customers worldwide will be able to purchase from the webshop in the currency of their choice.

Committed to reducing friction in the Web3 ecosystem, Banxa’s direct Fiat-to-NFT checkout solution takes care of all payment processing and regulatory requirements protecting its partners from fraud and chargeback and simplifies the purchasing journey for millions of users worldwide.

Customers will be able to purchase NFTs designed by famous international artist Sammy Slabbinck with all profits going to the global facing environmental charity Project Seagrass. The charity is devoted to conserving seagrass ecosystems through research, community and action.

The office of global media agency Wavemaker based in Belgium worked with Banxa and Sayl to bring the webshop, NFTs and marketing campaign to life for Hendrick’s.

Banxa CMO Gregor Cooney said: “With the spotlight on Web3, now is the perfect time for Web2 companies to step into this world and create new connections with their customers. We are thrilled to showcase our Fiat-to-NFT partnership with Sayl on the Hedera blockchain through a premium brand like Hendrick’s Gin with the help of its agency, Wavemaker. The opportunities in Web3 are endless and we look forward to the many collaborations to come with leading brands like Hendrick’s Gin looking to enter the NFT space with ease.”

Sayl co-founder Benoit Hossay said: “With Sayl, we are building the gateway for businesses into Web3 and while doing that, we are happy to work together with partners such as Banxa and Hedera, the carbon-neutral distributed ledger where the NFTs are minted. We’re incredibly excited to work together with Wavemaker as this could be the start of a long-term relationship.”
