Not-for-profit health fund HCF has created a new content series leveraging its ongoing partnership with the Sydney Swans HCF to start a conversation about health at all levels.
The four short-form episodes, which will appear across TV and digital, track the health and fitness of four players from the Sydney Swans – Josh Kennedy, Dan Hannebery, Luke Parker and Kieren Jack – against four everyday Aussies to showcase the importance of health for everyone.
The first of the four episodes was released today:
The four everyday Aussies chosen from across Sydney were tracked using the same GPS mapping and health tracking tools and analysed by the Sydney Swans professional support team.
The participants’ results were analysed for distance, number of steps, time spent performing physical activity, resting heart rate, time spent in various sleep cycles, energy intake, and energy expenditure.
The content series will look at the results of both players and participants as analysed by Sydney Swans conditioning assistant Michael Rennie and team dietician Elise Cameron.
HCF chief marketing officer Jenny Williams said: “Technology plays an important role in allowing us all to better understand our health needs.
“The purpose of this campaign is to empower Australians to appreciate their health and wellbeing, whether they’re elite athletes like the Sydney Swans or one of the more than 1.5 million everyday Australians using our services.”
