With 10’s surprise smash The Masked Singer done and dusted, only time will tell if the re-booted The Amazing Race will gain as much traction.
The debut episode enjoyed 635,000 according to OzTAM metro numbers.
10’s Have You Been Paying Attention? was able to hold some serious viewers with 816,000.
However, the ever-popular The Block once again took out the top spot for entertainment shows with 945,000.
The Block’s success handed Nine the Monday night win with 28 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs (all channels). Seven was second with 26.5 per cent, Ten was a close third and 20.9 per cent, the ABC did 16.9 per cent and SBS did 7.7 per cent.
In the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, Seven (930,000) beat Nine (879,000). ACA managed 725,000.
Other standouts for 10 included The Project (509,000).
Seven’s other movers included Home and Away (624,00), Bride And Prejudice (458,000), The Chase (334,000). and The Rookie (310,000).
The ABC’s night of current affairs went thus: 7pm news (616,000), 7.30 (588,000), Four Corners (513,000) and Media Watch (477,000).
